Pvt. Thomas Buck is the reconnaissance expert for the Red Team at Valhalla. He makes an appearance in Red vs. Blue: The Freelancer Archives during the episode Up Close and Personal. He, like other members of Red Team are soldiers designed to train members of Project Freelancer in live-fire training exercises.
Role in the Plot[]
Bloodbath at Valhalla[]
Two members of Project Freelancer, Agents Carolina and Iowa were assigned to the Blue Team in order to help them get back stolen explosives.
Buck was accompanied by Regg and Gyst. Felinne. The three were in the midst of relocating the Blues' stolen explosives, having tied them to a mongoose which they would roll into the Blue Base and detonate. The three continued to move out when he heard a thud behind them. Buck turned and discovered one of the agents had leapt on and decapitated Reggie with a katana. Buck aimed his weapon at Iowa but was met with the Katana again now thrown at him, impaling his chest.

Personality and Skills[]
Thomas Buck, along with the other Red Simulation Troops that make up his allies; have their personalities left relatively unexplored. However, they are made out (by the two agents) to be quite narcissistic and arrogant.

- Thomas Buck's last name was inspired by the Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach character Gyst. Edward Buck.
